MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING <br /> AMENDMENT OF THE CITY OF DECATUR'S <br /> ENTERPRISE ZONE ORDINANCE <br /> Tuesday, August 7, 2001, 10:00 A.M. <br /> City Council Chambers, Decatur Civic Center <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> The August 7, 2001 Public Hearing regarding amendment of the City of Decatur's Enterprise <br /> Zone Ordinance was opened by Mr. A.J. Krieger,Assistant City Manager, at 10:00 A.M. in the <br /> City Council Chambers, Third Floor of the Decatur Civic Center. <br /> Those Present: A.J. Krieger, Linda Love, Lori Henderson <br /> Mr. Krieger stated that the purpose of the hearing is to amend the Enterprise Zone Ordinance to <br /> reflect that properties in the Enterprise Zone and the Olde Towne Redevelopment Project will not <br /> be eligible for property tax abatement benefits unless those properties are already receiving the <br /> benefits. If not, the properties will not be eligible for property tax abatement benefits. <br /> There was no one present to comment or object to the proposed amendment. <br /> The Public Hearing was closed at 10:03 A.M. <br />
