: , � .� � - � I q . 1563093 � . -- e� �; r# � � �� 155 �. - �a,a��a�o+� r�,�eey I��n Gou � y �Y Gertil Tl�t Thi�In4ttltm�►t Wes i�Nad�nr R�aord�t�,,,�,10-10 M AM _. �� o � �� ReCorded i� �qok 3,� P�ge�� v�,�,�� ORDINANCE NO. 2001-32 �ee iLry 9'� ��Recarder ORDINANCE VACATING 1200 BLOCK OF WEST MACON STREET AND TWO ALLEYS EAST OF FAIRV�W AVENUE BETWEEN WEST WOOD AND MACON STREETS AND BETWEEN WEST MACON AND DECATUR STREETS WHEREAS, a request has been received from Millikin University, owner of property abutting thereon, requesting the vacation by the City Council of the 1200 Block of West Macon Street and portions of two (2) alleys in the City of Decatur, Illinois described as: The sixty (60) foot wide West Macon Street right of way between the East right of way line of South Fa,irview Avenue and the West right of way line of the Norfolk and Southern right of way, containing 39,285 square feet; and, A sixteen (16) foot wide alley in Block One (1) of Oaklawn Addition as per Plat recorded in Book 149, Page 121 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, beginning at the West lot line of Lot Ten (10) of said Oaklawn Addition and continuing Easterly to the West right of way line of the Norfolk and Sout�ern Rai�r�ad right o��uay, containing 8,5�8 sqaaxe fe�t; and, A sixteen (16) foot wide a11ey in Block Two (2) of Oaklawn Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 149, Page 121 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, between the East right of way line of South Fairview Avenue and the West right of way line of the Norfolk and Southern Railroad right of way, containing 9,628 square feet; and, WHEREAS, said portions of said street and alleys aze no longer useful to the public or to the City or to the owner of the property abutting thereon as a street or alleys; and, �
