� v , <br /> . � . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2000-99 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTION <br /> - SILAS STREET AND CLEVELAND AVENUE - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle <br /> on Silas Street approaching Cleveland Avenue from the north or south shall stop and yield the <br /> right-of-way to vehicles on Cleveland Avenue which have entered the intersection of said streets or <br /> which are approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said driver having <br /> so stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this <br /> ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than Two <br /> Hundred Dollars($200.00) for each offense. <br /> Section 3.
