vehicle over 10,000 pounds actual weight, registered gross weight (G.V.W.R.) that is required to <br /> comply with 625 ILCS 5/12-712 and 5/12-713 identification required to be displayed. <br /> 5. PROSECUTION. Whenever any vehicle is operated in violation of these sections <br /> the owner or driver of such vehicle shall be deemed guilty and either or both the owner or the <br /> driver of such vehicle may be prosecuted for such violation. <br /> 6. SAFETY INSPECTIONS. It shall be unlawful for any person to be in control of, to <br /> drive, to park, to move on, upon or across or for the owner to knowingly permit to be parked, <br /> driven, or moved upon or across, any street or highway under the jurisdiction of the City, any <br /> vehicle or combination of vehicles in violation of the requirements in 625 ILCS 5/12-101 (Rules <br /> and Regulations). <br /> 7. PENALTIES. A. The owner and or driver of a vehicle ar combination of vehicles <br /> found to be in violation of any of the provisions of Section 1 and/or 5 of this Chapter shall, upon <br /> conviction,be fined under the terms set forth in 625 ILCS 5/15-113 (weight, height and width). <br /> B. The owner or driver of a vehicle or combination of vehicles found to be in violation <br /> of any of the provisions of Section 6 of this Chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined not more <br /> than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense. <br /> 8. RULES AND REGULATIONS. The City Manager is authorized to cause to be <br /> promulgated, published and enforced such reasonable rules, regulations and procedures, not in <br /> conflict with said provisions, as may to said officer appear to be necessary or convenient to <br /> administer the provisions of said Code and this Chapter and to carry out the intent and purpose <br /> thereof and hereof. <br />
