. � <br /> �,r <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2000-63 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> AMENDING AND DELETING <br /> REFERENCES TO PUBLIC WORKS <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section 6 of Chapter 23 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, <br /> be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Section 6, as so modified and <br /> amended, sha11 provide as follows: <br /> 6. COMMISSION STAFF. The Advisory Staff of the Commission sha11 <br /> consist of the Resident Manager of the transit system or his designate, a member <br /> of the Traffic and Parking Commission, and a representative of the Department of <br /> Engineering and Infrastructure designated by the Director thereof, all of whom <br /> may participate in the discussions and deliberations of the Commission but shall <br /> be without vote. <br /> Section 2. That Sections 2, 3, 8, 13, 14, 17 and 39 of Chapter 34 of the City Code of the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same are hereby, modified and amended, s4 that said <br /> Sections 2, 3, 8, 13, 14, 17 and 39, as so modified and amended, shall provide as follows: , <br /> 2. TRAFFIC AND PARKING COMMISSION. There is hereby <br /> created a Traffic and Parking Commission consisting of nine members of <br /> which five such members shall be citizens members to serve without <br /> compensation and the remaining members shall be employees of officers <br /> of the City one from the Departrnent of Engineering and Infrastructure, <br /> one from the Fire Departrnent, one from the Police Department, and one <br /> from the Economic and Urban Development Department.
