DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT SERVICES
HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION
MEMORANDUM NO. 00-45
June 7, 2000
MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council
FROM: Steve Garm ity Manager
A. J. Krieg ssistant City Manager
f'rerard J. Ba r, Human Resources M ger
C"'
SUBJECT: Changes in Job Titles
Attached is an ordinance revising Section 2 of Chapter 7 of the City Code, regarding the
position titles of management employees. These job title changes are being recommended as part
of the follow up for the creation of the Economic and Urban Development Department, and as a
response to Council's directive on the leaf disposal program. The changes do not create any
additional management positions in the City; they simply indicate the retitling of three current
positions.
Staff recommends passage of this ordinance. Please let me know if you have any
questions about the attached. Thank you.
attachment
