� � RE�UEST TO VACATE PORTION OF ALLEY <br /> McDonald's Corporation, owners of the following real estate: <br /> Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 13, 14, 15 and 16 in Block 2 of E.G. <br /> and W.L. Allen's Addition to the City of Decatur as per <br /> Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 15 of the Records in the <br /> Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. <br /> respectfully requests that the City of Decatur, Illinois vacate the East 160' of the alley <br /> which divides Lots 1 through 8 of Block 2 of E.G. and W.L. Allen's Addition from Lots 9 <br /> through 16 of Block 2 of said Addition. The portion of the alley which McDonald's <br /> Corporation requests to be vacated is highlighted in yellow on the attached plat. <br /> McDonald's Corporation has obtained the consent of a11 urility companies to the <br /> vacarion of the specified portion of the alley. Attached is a copy of the September 20, <br /> 19991etter from Illinois Power concerning relocation of electrical service, a copy of the <br /> February 16, 20001etter from Illinois Power concerning relocarion of gas service, a copy <br /> of the correspondence from AT & T dated February 29, 2000 concerning telephone and <br /> cable television service relocation, and a copy of a letter from McDonald's Corporarion <br /> to Mr. William Ratekin dated February 16, 2000 concerning relocarion of the existing <br /> sewer line. i�Ir. Ratekin has confumed approval of the City of Decatur to relocate the <br /> sewer line. <br /> McDonald's Corporation has sent notice of its Request To Vacate A Portion Of <br /> Alley to all owners of property which adjoin the alley by Certified Mail, Return Receipt <br /> Requested on March 7, 2000. A copy of said notice is attached. ' <br /> McDonald's Corporation has had the portion of the alley which it requests to be � <br /> vacated appraised by Charles R. McCoy of Roby& Associates, Inc. A copy of Mr. ''� <br /> McCoy's appraisal is attached.
