� <br /> , ' . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2000-11 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> AMENDING AND DELETING <br /> REFERENCES TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section 1 of Chapter 23 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, <br /> be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Section 1, as so modified and <br /> amended, shall provide as follows: <br /> 1. ESTABLISHED. There is hereby created an Advisory Commission of <br /> the City of Decatur, Illinois which shall be known as the Transit Advisory <br /> Commission and which shall consist of seven (7)members, four or whom shall be <br /> citizens of the community not employed by or holding office with the City, and <br /> three of whom shall be employees or officers of the City. The three members who <br /> are officers or employees of the City sha11 be designated from time to time by the <br /> City Manager for indefinite terms, one from the Intergovernmental Programs <br /> Department, one from the Police Department and one from a department other <br /> than the Police Department or the Intergovernmental Programs Department. The <br /> four members who are not employees or officers of the City shall be appointed by <br /> the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council and shall serve without <br /> compensation. Appointments shall be for a term of three years or until the <br /> respective successor is appointed and qualified. <br /> Section 2. That Sections 1 and 4 of Chapter 25 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Sections 1 and 4, as so <br /> modified and amended, shall provide as follows: <br />
