1. BUILDING OFFICIAL AND INSPECTION DIVISION. <br /> Whenever the words "Inspection Division" are used in this chapter, it shall <br /> refer to the Inspection Division of the Economic and Urban Development <br /> Deparirnent of the City of Decatur, Illinois. <br /> 4. APPLICATION FEE. Any partnership, corporation or individual <br /> desiring a license as an Electrical Contractor in the City of Decatur shall <br /> make application for the same on an application prescribed and provided <br /> by the Economic and Urban Development Department Inspections <br /> Division which shall be accompanied by payment fee of Fifty Dollars <br /> ($50.00). Effective July 1, 1999 and annually thereafter on January 1 of <br /> each year, applicants shall provide to the City of Decatur evidence of <br /> license bond in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000). Failure to <br /> complete any electrical installation, or obtain a satisfactory final <br /> inspection, would be cause for the City to contact the bonding company to <br /> satisfactorily complete the work. Any individual desiring a license as an <br /> Electrician shall make application for the same on an application <br /> prescribed and provided by the Economic and Urban Development <br /> Department Inspections Division which application shall be accompanied <br /> by the payment of a non-refundable examination fee of Fifty Dollars <br /> ($50.00). , <br /> Section 3. That Sections 1 and 4 of Chapter 26 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Sections 1 and 4, as so <br /> modified and amended, shall provide as follows: <br /> 1. BUILDING OFFICIAL AND INSPECTION DIVISION. <br /> Whenever the words "Inspection Division" are used in this chapter, it sha11 refer <br /> to the Inspection Division of the Economic and Urban Development Department <br /> of the City of Decatur, Illinois, and whenever the words "building official" are <br /> used herein the same refers to the Superintendent of Building Inspections in said <br /> Department. <br /> 4. APPLICATION FEE. Any partnership, corporation or individual <br /> desiring a license as a Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor in <br /> the City of Decatur shall make application for the same on an application <br /> prescribed and provided by the Economic and Urban Development Department <br /> Inspections Division which shall be accompanied by payment fee of Fifty Dollars <br /> ($50.00). Applicants shall provide to the City of Decatur evidence of insurance <br /> with a policy of general liability with a combined single limit of not less that One <br /> Million Dollars ($1,000,000) for bodily injury and property damage. <br />
