ADDITIONS AND <br /> Chapter 23: <br /> 1. ESTABLISHED. There is hereby created an Advisory Commission of <br /> the City of Decatur, Illinois which shall be known as the Transit Advisory <br /> Commission and which shall consist of seven (7)members, four or whom sha11 be <br /> citizens of the community not employed by or holding office with the City, and <br /> three of whom shall be employees or officers of the City. The three members who <br /> are officers or employees of the City shall be designated from time to time by the <br /> City Manager for indefinite terms, one from the <br /> , Intergovernmental Programs Department, one from the Police <br /> Deparhnent and one from a department other than the Police Department or the <br /> Inter¢overnmental Pro�rams <br /> Department. The four members who are not employees or officers of the City <br /> shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council and <br /> shall serve without compensation. Appointments shall be for a term of three years <br /> or until the respective successor is appointed and qualified. <br /> * * * <br /> Chapter 25: <br /> 1. BUILDING OFFICIAL AND INSPECTION DIVISION. <br /> Whenever the words "Inspection Division" are used in this chapter, it shall refer <br /> to the Inspection Division of the Economic <br /> and Urban Development Department of the City of Decatur, Illinois. <br /> 4. APPLICATION FEE. Any partnership, corporation or individua.l <br /> desiring a license as an Electrical Contractor in the City of Decatur shall make <br /> application for the same on an application prescribed and provided by the <br /> Economic and Urban Development Department <br /> Inspections Division which shall be accompanied by payment fee of Fifty Dollars <br /> ($50.00). Effective July 1, 1999 and annually thereafter on January 1 of each <br /> year, applicants shall provide to the City of Decatur evidence of license bond in <br /> the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000). Failure to complete any electrical <br /> installation, or obtain a satisfactory final inspection, would be cause for the City to <br /> contact the bonding company to satisfactorily complete the work. Any individual <br /> desiring a license as an Electrician shall make application for the same on an <br /> application prescribed and provided by the Economic <br /> and Urban Development De�artment Inspections Division which application shall <br /> be accompanied by the payment of a non-refundable examination fee of Fifty <br /> Dollars ($50.00). <br />
