Miller, AICP, Planner {�.��-- <br /> SUBJECT: Annexation of Surrounded Areas on North Taylor Avenue <br /> Two separate parcels of land are scheduled for annexation consideration by the City Council. <br /> Each parcel contains less than 60 acres and is entirely surrounded by the corporate limits. The <br /> appropriate ordinance will be received on Monday, August 16, 1999, with final action being taken <br /> on Monday, August 30, 1999. <br /> The following parcels will be considered: <br /> Lot One (1) of Berry Addition(3 820 North Taylor Avenue)--ocupied by a <br /> single family dwelling. <br /> Lot Four(4) ofBerry Addition(3880 North Taylor Avenue)--occupied by a <br /> single family dwelling. <br /> The total area of both parcels is 1.073 acres. The surrounding area is zoned R-l; when annexed <br /> the area will come into the city as R-1 Single Family Residence District. <br /> The owners of these properties will be notified prior to final action being taken on August 30, <br /> 1999. (Letters were mailed on July 27, 1999.) <br /> In keeping with policy to annex surrounded areas and thereby create a more logical and consistent <br /> corporate boundary, staff recommends approval of the annexation as presented. <br />
