, � <br /> � <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 98-56 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> CHAPTER 47 <br /> -CONTROL OF ANIMALS, FOWL AND DOGS - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Code of the City of Decatur be, and the same is hereby, <br /> modified and amended at Section 29(A) of Chapter 47 thereof, so that as amended and modified, <br /> said Section 29(A) shall provide as follows: <br /> 29. CITATIONS. <br /> A. Whenever a police officer or other person duly authorized by the City <br /> to enforce this Chapter witnesses or has knowledge, based on reasonable <br /> grounds, of a violation by any person of any section of this Chapter, except <br /> section 25, such person may be issued a citation for said violation by the police <br /> officer or other person duly authorized by the City to enforce this Chapter. <br /> Section 2.
