� . 1 _ I ' <br /> usage than that determined for purposes of said Chapter 64 and which lesser total reflects water <br /> lost to such use or evaporation. Any such reduction as provided for herein must be agreed to <br /> between the City and the user. <br /> (C) The rate of the SUC for those lots, buildings and premises which are not <br /> furnished water by the City of Decatur shall be $2.30 per month. <br /> (D) At the option of the owner of any lot, building or premises, with the approval <br /> of the City, the rate of the SUC shall be $0.34 per one hundred cubic feet of sanitary sewage or <br /> industrial waste entering the sewerage system. Said owner must install, at his or its own expense, <br /> a sewer meter approved by the City which accurately measures the sanitary sewage or industrial ' <br /> waste entering the sewerage system. <br /> Section 4. SEASONAL ADJUSTMENT. Water use, as established by Section 3 (A), <br /> shall be adjusted for the purposes of this Chapter, as follows: <br /> 1. For those users with water meters subject to monthly billings, <br /> the monthly volume for those meter readings which include the major <br /> portion or all of the months of June, July and August shall not exceed <br /> the monthly average volume of the immediately preceding six (6)meter <br /> readings; and, <br /> 2. For those users with water meters subject to quarterly billings, <br /> the quarterly volume for those meter readings which include a major <br /> portion or all of the months of June, July and August shall not exceed <br /> the quarterly average volume of the two (2)preceding quarters; and, <br /> 3. Seasonal adjustments shall be made only for those users <br /> having a six (6) month or two (2) quarters water usage record <br /> immediately preceding a particular billing period. <br /> Section 5. PAYMENT. (A) The SUC shall be added to the municipal utilities bill <br /> sent by the City to the owner of each lot, building and premises in accordance with said Chapter <br /> 64, and said SUC shall be separately denoted thereon, except as provided in subsection (B). <br />
