Newell, Traffic Engineer �C'� <br /> SUBJECT: Ordinance Authorizing the Establishment of a Four-Way Stop at <br /> the Intersection of Baltimore Avenue and Fitzgerald Road <br /> At the December meeting of the Traffic and Parking Commission, the Commission <br /> approved a request from the Macon County Highway Department and the Long Creek Township <br /> to recommend the installation of a four-way stop at the intersection of Baltimore Avenue and <br /> Fitzgerald Road. The City currently has jurisdiction of the north and west approaches to the <br /> intersection, with the south and east approaches under the jurisdiction of the County and Long <br /> Creek Township respectively. <br /> Upon review of the prevailing speeds, traffic volumes and accident history present at the <br /> intersection, City staff has recommended this action. <br /> Staff will be present to answer any questions the Council may have. <br /> attach: 2 <br />
