.� <br /> . � . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 96-42 <br /> ORDINANCE APPROVING LAND USE <br /> AUTOMOTIVE STORAGE YARD <br /> - NORTH WOODFORD STREET- <br /> VV��REAS, the following described premises are currently zoned M-2 Heavy Industrial <br /> District: <br /> A part of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 1, Township 16 <br /> North, Range 2 East of the 3rd PM described as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point on the West line of the NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of <br /> said Sec. 1 which is 826.72 feet South of the Northwest corner of <br /> the NW 1/4, of NW 1/4 of said Section 1; thence North 89° 31' 30" <br /> E., 1387.22 feet along the North line of the South 532 feet of the <br /> NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of said Section 1 to the East line of the NW 1/4 <br /> of NW 1/4 of said Sec. 1; thence North 0° 39' S5" E., 265.53 feet <br /> along the East line of the NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of said Section 1; <br /> thence South 89° 24' 18" W., 1390.33 feet to the West line of the <br /> NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of said Section 1; thence South to the point of <br /> beginning, except the West 30 feet more or less dedicated as a <br /> public road (North Woodford Street). <br /> WHEREAS, Richard J. Richards, Prairieland Towing, Inc. and Dan Cahill, have <br /> petitioned this Council pursuant to Section XVI (B) of the Zoning Ordinance for approval to use <br /> said premises as an automotive storage yard; and, � <br /> WHEREAS, the use of said premises for said purpose has been approved by the Building <br /> Inspector and the Fire Chief. <br /> NOW, TI�REFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI� CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, II,LINOIS: <br />
