. � _ � <br /> Section 3. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur be, and the same is hereby, <br /> modified and amended at Section XII B. 2. thereof, so that said Section XII B. 2. of said Zoning <br /> Ordinance shall provide as follows: <br /> XII B. 2. Identification (advertising) sign or off-premise (billboard) sign <br /> when located at least fifty (50) feet from the side or rear lot line of any "R" <br /> District. All identification signs shall be in accordance with applicable <br /> regulations set forth under Section XIX, Height and Area Exceptions and <br /> Modifications, as stated herein. Any off-premise sign face shall not exceed <br /> 300 square feet in area including border and trim but excluding ornamental <br /> base or apron, supports and other structural members; there may be no <br /> more than two sign faces displayed in any one direction with each face <br /> being not more than 300 square feet as noted. Back to back displays with <br /> no more than two faces as noted above and erected at no greater than a <br /> forty-five degree angle to each other shall be permitted and deemed to be a <br /> single sign. Further, any off-premise sign shall not be closer than 300 feet <br /> from any other legally erected off-premise sign located on the same side of <br /> the street or highway. For the purpose of this ordinance, an identification <br /> or off-premise sign is considered to be an accessory use. <br /> Section 4.
