11.2 Cart Distribution <br /> "I'he Contractor is required to work with thc Cart Manufacturer and arrange for distribution of the <br /> carts during the initial phase to ali the households and provide a database of carts linked to the <br /> addresses. For the purposes of' this contract the initia) phase of cart distribution shall mean, <br /> distribution of carts to the households by the Cart Manufacturer. <br /> During the later phases of distribution the Contractor should work with various Haulers to <br /> distribute carts in their respective areas. For the purposes of this contract the later phases of cart <br /> distribution shall mean, carts that were assembled, stocked and distributed to the Haulers by the <br /> Contractor for further distribution to the households. <br /> 11.3 Cart Cost and Reimbursement <br /> The City will collect an additional SQ cents per househotd to cover the cost of the cari and other <br /> recycling promotional material. Contractor will bc reimbursed for the cost of the carts as well as <br /> the handling charges on a monthly basis. Contractor must provide the following details for <br /> reimbursement within the first 10 days of the following month. <br /> � Number and size of carts distributed to various Haulers <br /> • Addresses of the households with the serial numbers oi' the carts associated with the <br /> address. <br /> The Contractor will be reimbursed no later than two weeks after submitting the above report. <br />, The all inclusive cart costs cannot exceed $55.00/cart during the initial phase and $55.00/cart <br /> durin the later hases FY 2011-2012. An incrcase to the cart costs durin later hases of the <br /> g p Y g P <br /> subsequent years of the contract is subject to a roval by the Cit . <br /> PP Y <br /> 11.4 Cart Buy-back <br /> Unless the contract is extended, the City shall acquire all the remainin� carts purchased by the <br /> Contractor for the City's Single Stream Recycling program at the end of the current contract <br /> term. The buy-back cost for each cart shall be eyual to the initial purchase price by the <br /> Contractor plus$4.00 for the cost of stocking, warehouse space, assembly and handling. <br /> 11.5 Cart Ownership <br /> Once delivered to the household, the cart shall become the property of the home owner. <br /> Section 12. General Contract Terms and Conditions <br /> CONFIDENTIALITY: Thc Contractor, its agents, and its employees, will keep And retain any <br /> and all information and records generated under this Agreement in the strictest confidence and <br /> will neither use such information or records nor disclose such information or records to anyone <br /> without the explicit written permission of the City.
