These could occur during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day (if Christmas and New Year's Day fall on a weekday). Contractor's personncl must be available on such makeup days. 7.4 Bad Weather: If bad weather or natural disasters prevent the Haulers from working on their normally scheduled work days (Monday-Friday and Saturdays after certain holidays), the Contractor shall be required to perforrn ihe services specified in the contract on whatever days or portion of days Haulers ��ork in order to make up for days or portions of days missed because of bad weather or natural disasters. In the event that Haulers are prevented from starting their work or forced to stop their wark hefore completion on a noRnally scheduled work day due to Bad Weather or natural disaster, the City shall notify the Contractor of the work stoppage and communicate the City's initial anticipated plan to return to a normal work schedule. Any changes to this plan will also be communicated to the Contractor. Section 8.Payments, Records and Reporting Contractor shall remit $10/ton to the authorized Haulers for recyclable material delivered to the RTF from the City's recycling programs. Contraetor shall provide the City, the following information on monthly basis l. Date, scale ticket number, name of the I-lauler and net wcibht for all incoming loads per daY; 2. Monthly total tonnage by type of recyclin�commodity received for processin�; 3. Monthly totals of tons of residuals (by weight} pr�cessed; 4. Monthly totals of tons of recyclables by the Hauler; 5. Purchasers of Recyclable Materials; As part of the data sharing requirements, records shall be kept an a daily and cumulative basis regarding the Cit��'s single stream recycling program and shall be available to the City upon request. Information reporting shail be disseminated by an agreed upon electronic format. Reports of the previous month's activities will be due to the City by 10'h of each month. Annual reports will be due by April 10�' following the City's completed recycling year (April 1 st — March 31 st). Section 9.Community Education The City has witnessed a direct relationship between community awareness on recycling and recycling participation rates. The City of Decutur would like to en�age the community prior to the start of the new curbside Single Stream Recycling Program. Z'he Contractor shall assist the City in educating the community on source reduction, reuse and recycling. 5
