The I <br /> p , , Y � � <br /> primary purpose of the grant was the construction of the Transit Administration Building. 'The <br /> permitted life of the above referenced grant will expire on December 31, 2000, and about <br /> $20,000 of State and Federal funds are still available to be spent under this grant. In order to , <br /> extend the life of the grant, and therefore to continue to be able to use the allocated funds, a grant , <br /> amendment must be approved. If approved by City Council, this Amendment No. 9 will extend ' <br /> the life of State Grant CAP-87-303-FED through December 31, 2001. Staff recommends that ', <br /> this resolution be approved.
