For this reason, it is the recommendation of City staff to contract Harza directly for <br /> this consulting contract. <br /> Staff has negotiated an acceptable agreement with Harza Engineering Company for the <br /> required work. The services to be provided are summarized as follows: <br /> • Site inspection and investigation <br /> • Detailed design and production of technical specifications <br /> • Support during project bidding <br /> The cost for the services described is $48,900. Funding for this project will come from <br /> the Lake Capital Fund. <br /> It is recommended by staff that the City Council approve the attached resolution <br /> approving the award of a professional services contract to Harza Engineering Company for the <br /> design of Repairs to Lake Decatur Dam, City Project 2000-41, in the amount not to exceed <br /> $48,900 and that the Mayor be authorized to execute the agreement and the Clerk to attest. � <br /> City staff will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer questions that <br /> Council member may have. <br /> attach.: 2 <br /> cc: John Smith, Water Production Manager <br /> Keith Alexander, Lake Manager <br /> Harza Engineering Company <br />
