, � � <br /> RICHLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> BURN TRAINER AGREEMENT <br /> This agreement is made by and between the City of Decatur, Illinois, 62526, hereinafter called <br /> "the CITY," and Richland Community College, One College Park, Decatur, Illinois, 62521, <br /> hereinafter called"RCC." i <br /> WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Richland Community College District #537 �' <br /> that RCC and the CITY enter into an agreement that provides for the expansion of educational �i <br /> services; <br /> WHEREAS, RCC and the CITY have previously cooperated in planning and enhancing the � <br /> educational programs and services delivered to students; and <br /> WHEREAS, the execution of this agreement will provide for continued cooperation between the <br /> CITY and RCC through shazed land use and equipment; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and undertakings herein contained <br /> and other good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the <br /> parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> This agreement shall become effective on��`�� l b , 2000, and shall be automatically <br /> renewable each subsequent year by mutual consent. <br /> 2. EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES <br /> RCC agrees to provide a Burn Trainer, site grading, the necessary foundation, other <br /> necessary attachments or parts, and assembly. <br /> The CITY agrees to provide RCC with a license to use the land and the necessary <br /> infrastructure, including water hydrant service and grounds keeping services, in the <br /> fenced yazd surrounding the existing training tower at Fire Station #2, 2707 E. William <br /> St., Decatur, Illinois, 62521, for the assembly, placement, and use of the Burn Trainer. <br /> Additionally, the CITY will allow RCC staff and students use of existing parking and <br /> washroom facilities at the site. <br /> RCC shall make no modifications, alterations, or repairs to the area without prior consent <br /> by the CITY, and RCC shall maintain the azea in a neat and orderly manner. <br /> The CITY agrees to allow RCC to place and maintain a sign on site to designate the <br /> program. The CITY shall approve the sign and its location prior to installation. <br /> 1 <br />
