The crews shall be courteous and endeavor to work with as little noise, <br /> disturbance, and disruption to residents as possible. <br /> 72 Personnel engaged in the collection of recyclable materials shall take reasonable care not <br /> to damage properly or cause injury to persons. <br /> 7.2 Contractor shall prohibit the drinking of any alcoholic beverages or the ingestion of any <br /> illegal nazcotics by its drivers and crew members while on duty or in the course of performing <br /> their duties. In addition, all employees shall cazry valid State of Illinois driver's license for the <br /> class of vehicle operated. <br /> VIII. REPORTS, DISPOSAL OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS <br /> 8.1 Contractor shall maintain accurate data, records, and receipts, and shall within the first ten <br /> (10) days of every month provide the City with pertinent data of the recycling collection program, <br /> including, but not limited to (additional reporting requirements may be agreed upon after the <br /> proposal is accepted): <br /> • total weight and cubic yardage of recyclables collected per day, number of stops per day, <br /> pounds of each type of material collected per day, and the monthly totals <br /> • total number of customers (monthly) , <br /> • monthly recycling participation rates (number of set outs divided by the number of homes <br /> in service area <br /> • revenues from recyclables including pounds o-f recyclables sold, buyer, freight costs, and <br /> price per pound received <br /> • complaint list or complaint forms including number of missed pick-ups, number of flags <br /> left, indicating the name, address, telephone number, nature of the complaint, date � <br /> complaint was received, action taken by Contractor, and date the complaint was resolved <br /> (see Exhibit B) <br /> • number of new service bins and.replacement bins requested and addresses to which they <br /> have been delivered <br /> • name and location of processing faciliry <br /> • weekly set out rate <br /> • street addresses where collection took place on a monthly basis-a rough estimate that the <br /> Contractor may supply either from an address checklist that drivers keep or from random <br /> surveys, can also be accepted <br /> 8.2 The Contractor shall provide all initial public information necessary to inform customers <br /> about the services provided under the new agreement. This shall include all preparation, printing, <br /> and mailing/delivery costs. The Contractor shall continue to assist the City in the development <br /> and maintenance of a Public Information Program in order to keep residents/customers informed <br /> on all aspects of the refuse collection programs during the term of this agreement.
