The repairs are made at selected locations where the pavement I <br /> has become severely cracked, settled, raveled or deteriorated. <br /> The City's Engineering Division prepared the documents for this project. The project was <br /> advertised for competitive bids and the single bid received was opened on Monday, July 10, <br /> 2000. The results (copy of the bid tabulation is attached) of the letting are as follows: <br /> Compared to <br /> Engineer's Est. <br /> Bidder Bid Price Over(-Under� <br /> Engineer's Estimate $ 72,982.50 ---- <br /> Dunn Company $ 75,814.50 3.9 <br /> The receipt of one bid, though three contractors obtained plans, is always a concern to staff <br /> as it relates to the City obtaining competitive bids for its work. The project was advertised in <br /> accordance with the established policy. <br />
