' <br /> ' A. Responsiveness to the needs of the City, both in the time to complete the project and <br /> in the scope of services offered. <br /> , B. Proposing firm's eYperience, responsibility and role with projects of similar size, <br /> scope and nature. For this project, the evaluation of experience will specifically <br /> ' examine the proposing firm's: <br /> l. Design experience with SCADA systems comparable to that currently used at <br /> the City's South Water Treatment Plant. <br /> ' 2. Knowledge and expertise of the software, hardware and associated <br /> components of comparable SCADA systems. <br /> ' C. The proposing firm's engagement team, including its availability for this project, <br /> applicable experience and resumes of key personnel to be assigned to the project. The <br /> ' engineer-of-record shall be licensed as a professional engineer in the State of Illinois. <br /> D. The degree to which the proposal meets or exceeds the terms of the Request. <br /> ' E. Results of reference checks and past performance for the City and other clients. <br /> F. The proposing firm's proposed fee structure (i.e., actual cost plus fixed fee, salary cost <br /> times a multiplier plus incidental costs, lump sum, etc.) and an estimated fee range for <br /> ' the proposed scope of work in the proposal for this project. <br /> ' XII. GENERAL REOUIREMENTS OF THE SUCCESSFUL PROPOSING FIRM <br /> A. The successful proposing firm shall enter into a contract with the City. <br /> ' B. The successful proposing firm will be required to maintain insurance coverages for <br /> the duration of the contract period as follows: <br /> ' l. General Liability Insurance, with a combined single limit of $1,000,000 for <br /> each occurrence and $1,000,000 in the aggregate. <br /> , 2. Automobile Compensation Insurance, with combined single limit of <br /> $1,000,000 for each person and $1,000,000 for each accident. <br /> , 3. Workers' Compensation Insurance in accordance with statutory requirements <br /> and Employers' Liability Insurance, with a limit of $500,000 for each <br /> occunence. <br /> , 4. Professional Liability Insurance, with a limit of$1,000,000 annual aggregate. <br /> C. The successful proposing firm shall be prohibited from assigning or subcontracting <br /> ' the whole or any part of the contract without the prior written consent of the City. <br /> D. The successful proposing firm shall not hire, discharge, promote, demote or otherwise <br /> ' discriminate in matters of compensation, terms, conditions or privileges of <br /> employment against any person otherwise qualified solely because of race, creed, sex, <br /> national oriQin, ancestry, physical or mental disability, color or age. <br /> ' 6 <br /> ' 03/O1/00 <br />
