, <br /> , SECTION 1 <br /> , PROPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS <br /> ' The City of Decatur, Illinois is requesting statements of qualifications and proposals from <br /> selected professional consultants to provide services for the design and specifications for the <br /> installation of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to replace the <br /> , existing hardwire communication system between the City's South Water Treatment Plant <br /> located at 1155 South Martin Luther KinQ, Jr., Drive and the City's Raw Water Pump Station <br /> located on Lincoln Park Drive west of the Lake Decatur dam. <br /> ' I. INQUIRIES AND CORRECTIONS <br /> ' All inquiries relating to this Request shall be addressed to: <br /> City of Decatur <br /> ' Attn.: John Smith, Water Production Manager <br /> #1 Gary K. Anderson Plaza � <br /> Decatur, Illinois 62523 j <br /> ' If a <br /> submitting firm finds discrepancies in, or omissions from this Request, or should <br /> ' require additional clarification of any part thereof, a written request for interpretation <br /> shall be submitted to the City Enaineer. Any interpretation of, or chan�e made to this <br /> Request will be made by written addendum to each proposing firm, and shall become part <br /> ' of the proposal for any contract awarded. The City will not be responsible for the <br /> accuracy of any OR.AL EXPLANATIONS, INTERPRETATIONS, OR <br /> REPRESENTATIONS. All inquiries shall be made in writing and all responses will be <br /> ' provided in writing, with copies being sent to all proposing firms. . To be given <br /> consideration, inquiries must be received at least ten (10) calendar days prior to the date <br /> established for submission of responses. It shall be the responsibility of each proposing <br /> ' firm to verify that every addendum has been received prior to submitting proposals. <br /> II. NO PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING AND TOUR <br /> , The City of Decatur �vill not conduct a pre-proposal meeting and/or tour for this ro'ect. <br /> P J <br /> Proposing firms may want to visit the project site to familiarize themselves with the <br /> ' South Water Treatment Plant and the Raw Water Pump Station.
