, � <br /> FAP Route 710 & Alt. # 5.62 <br /> Section 48Z-3RS-I,SOZ(2RS-6,3-RS-3) <br /> Macon County <br /> Job No. C-95-086-93 <br /> Agreement No. JN-500012 <br /> Contract No. 90580 <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> This agreement entered into this )(� �� day of d� , A.D., 20 00 , by <br /> and between the STATE OF ILLINOIS, acting by and through ts DEPARTMENT OF <br /> TRANSPORTATION hereinafter called the STATE, and the City of Decatur, of the State of <br /> Illinois, hereinafter called the CITY. <br /> WITNESSESTH <br /> WHEREAS, the STATE in order to facilitate the free flow of traffic and insure safety <br /> to the motoring public, is desirous of improving approximately 4,177 lineal meters (13,705 ft.) <br /> of Northbound U.S. 51 (Alt.) and 4,742 lineal meters (15,560 ft.) of Southbound U.S. 51, <br /> known as State Section 48Z-3RS-I,SOZ(2RS-6,3RS-3). The proposed improvement shall <br /> consist of the following: <br /> A. Northbound U.S. Route 51 (Alt.), from North Street to approximately 623 meters <br /> (2,044 ft.) north of Pershing Road: <br /> Coldmilling the traffic lanes and turn lanes 19 millimeters (3/a in.), from North Street to <br /> 367 meters (1,204 ft.) north of Pershing Road and coldmilling 32 millimeters (1'/a in.) <br /> on the remainding north 256 meters (840 ft.) of the job; resurfacing the milled surfaces <br /> with 19 millimeters (3/a in.) of leveling binder and 38 millimeters (1'/a in.) of <br /> bituminous concrete surface course; resurfacing bare concrete with 25 millimeters (1 <br /> in.) of leveling binder and 38 millimeters (1'/z in.) of bituminous concrete surface <br /> course; coldmilling and resurfacing sidestreets back to the radius point; adjusting frame <br /> and grates as needed; striping pavement with thermoplastic pavement markings, and <br /> replacing raised reflective pavement markers; and by performing all other work � <br /> necessary to complete the improvement in accordance with the approved plans and <br /> specifications; and <br /> 1 <br />
