B. Southbound U.S. Route 51, from Washington Street to approximately 628 meters <br /> (2,060 ft.) north of Pershing Road: <br /> Coldmilling the traffic lanes, turn lanes, and parking lanes 32 millimeters (1'/a in.) <br /> (parking lanes will only include from Washington Street to Eldorado Street as requested <br /> by the City); resurfacing the milled surfaces 38 millimeters (11/z in.) of bituminous <br /> concrete surface course; coldmilling and resurfacing sidestreets back to the radius <br /> point; adjusting frame and grates as needed; striping pavement with thermoplastic <br /> pavement markings, and replacing raised reflective pavement markers, and by <br /> performing all other work necessary to complete the improvement in accordance with <br /> the approved plans and specifications; and <br /> C. �Northbound and Southbound U.S. Route 51 at the intersection with Grand Avenue and <br /> Garfield Avenue: <br /> Coldmilling pavement full depth to bare concrete; replacing milled pavement with <br /> Bituminous Concrete; adjusting frame and grates as needed; replacing pavement <br /> markings with thermoplastic pavement markings, and replacing raised reflective <br /> pavement markers; and by performing all other work necessary to complete the <br /> improvement in accordance with the approved plans and specifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY is desirous of said improvement in that same will be of <br /> immediate benefit to the CITY residents and permanent in nature; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the <br /> parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> 1. The STATE agrees to make the surveys, obtain all necessary rights-of-way, <br /> prepare plans and specifications, receive bids and award the contract, furnish <br /> engineering inspection during construction and cause the improvement to be <br /> built in accordance with the plans, specifications and contract. <br /> 2. The STATE agrees to pay for all construction and engineering costs, subject to <br /> reimbursement by the CITY as hereinafter stipulated. <br /> 2 <br />
