, ,
TELEPHONE NOTE:
MAY 3, 2000
 FROM: PASTOR CHARLES GUDE
MARANATHA ASSEMBLY OF GOD
' RE: CONTRACT FOR TRANSIT SERVICE APPROVED BY
CITY COUNCIL, MAY 1, 2000
Pastor Gude had called on 4/28/00 to question the amount to be charged for the proposed
Saturday service, as shown in the draft contract that I had sent him. The contract proposed a
subsidy of$54.00 per hour. He said that he thought they had been paying only$30.00 per hour.
I faxed him copies of invoices dated 1/18/2000 and 1/31/1999 showing that the fee was $54 per
hour. I also called him on 4/28/00 to let him know that the records show that the fee increased
from$30 per hour to $54 per hour in October, 1998.
On May 3rd, Pastor Gude said that he had discussed the subsidy amount with the Church Board
and that they had decided not to accept the contract. Naturally, the Church Board might accept a
contract for a lower amount. But,he did not propose an alternate amount and he did not ask for
(or imply that he wanted) a reduced price for this service.
Paul McChancy
Mass Transit Administrator
