The studio is a full- service facility for the ! <br /> preservation and conservation of sculpture, architectural elements, artifacts, and decorative art <br /> objects. The studio integrates hands-on treatment with research and consulting services, and <br /> serves the needs of museums, architects, contractors, art dealers, public sector agencies, <br /> municipalities and individual collectors of art objects. The Conservation of Sculpture and <br /> Objects Studio is located at 5330 N. Oconto Ave. Chicago, IL 60656. The telephone number <br /> is 773-594-1451 (Cell 773-480-0483), and the fax number is 773-594-0583. <br /> All of our projects conform to the strictest standards as set by the American Institute of <br /> Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC), Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice. <br /> Our mission is to guarantee the highest quality of work with excellent client satisfaction. All of <br /> our work is fully documented and the reasons for the use of particular material or approach is <br /> always justified at the outset. The following are some of the materials that we specialize in <br /> for conservation treatment: bronze, granite, marble, limestone, sandstone, cast stone, <br /> terracotta, iron, plaster, concrete, brick, ceramic tile, wood, polychromed wood, ceramic tile <br /> antl most painted surfaces. <br /> Our specialty is large scale monuments that may require a range of structural and surface <br /> repairs, manufacture of replacement elements, interior works and/ or mechanics stabilization <br /> and the preparation of the surfaces for long-term preservation.
