, ' TASK 4. PERMITS AND APPROVALS <br /> 1. Provide in the specifications a list of the permits which must be obtained <br /> by the construction contractor. It is understood the construction contractor <br /> must obtain a local bui�ding permit for this project: <br /> 2. Provide assistance to Owner in obtaining a construction permit from the <br /> IEPA and a building permit from the local building authority. Assistance <br /> will include: <br /> a. Preparation of applications, exhibits, drawings and specifications as <br /> necessary for Owner's execution and submittal. <br /> b. Furnishing additional information about the project design.. <br /> TASK 5. BIDDING AND AWARD <br /> 1. Coordinate bid letting date, time, and place with Owner, and prepare final <br /> Invitation to Bid. <br /> 2. Assist and advise Owner in placing the advertisements of the Invitation to <br /> Bid. <br /> 3. Identify potential contractors and suppliers, and distribute copies of <br /> Invitation to Bid. Maintain a record of prospective bidders and suppliers to �� <br /> whom contract documents have been issued. <br /> 4. Provide 75 sets of construction contract documents, and distribute <br /> construction contract documents to prospective bidders. <br /> 5. Distribute plan holders' list to recipients of contract documents prior to bid <br /> opening. <br /> 6. Receive non-refundable deposits from p�an holders for construction <br /> contract documents. Deposits will be retained by Engineer to cover <br /> reproduction and handling costs associated with distribution of the <br /> documents. Owner will not be billed for any of these costs. <br /> 7. Distribute 10 sets of the construction contract documents to the successful <br /> bidder. <br /> 8.
