H-886-3-99 � ��`:..:�-:',;�:�.;:�;' �'� <br /> C �p:'' �'�,}`�� � <br /> t�t�o ':�� Z����l, <br /> �6Z8'ZL <br /> WHEREAS, the existing traffic signals at the intersection of Lost Bridge Road (County Highway <br /> 50), Country Club Road (County Highway 26), and Maryland Street have been determined to be <br /> failing and not in conformance with existing standards; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur has requested the County cooperate in the joint funding of said <br /> improvement; and <br /> WHEREAS, Macon County desires to enter into an agreement with the City of Decatur for the <br /> reconstruction of tra�c signals at the intersection of Lost Bridge Road and Country Club Road; and <br /> WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned Agreement, it is necessary for the County to <br /> appropriate sufficient funds to pay its share of the cost of this improvement. <br /> NOW,Z�EREFORE,BE TT RESOLVED by the Macon County Board that it hereby enters into <br /> an agreement with the City of Deca.tur to provide said construction and hereby appropriates the sum <br /> of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) or so much thereof as may be necessary, from the Matching <br /> Fund Account to pay its share of the construction costs of this improvement as provided in the <br /> Agreement. <br /> BE IT FURTHElt RESOLVED that this Resolution shall become ef�ective immediately upon the <br /> adoption thereof. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED,AND APPROVED this l lth day of March, 1999. <br /> AYES 19 NAYS � MACON COUNTY BOARD <br /> Px�sErrr i MACON COUNTY,ILLINOIS <br /> AT ST• By: <br /> a---� <br /> p en .
