� 3.5 SCHEDULING OPERAT/ONS <br /> Operator will review bus schedules and make recommendations for <br /> improvement. Operator also will direct surveys to determine justification and <br /> feasibility of fare adjustments, route and schedule changes, transfer alterations <br /> and customer satisfaction. <br /> 3.6 FUNDS SECURlTY <br /> Operator shall coliect on behalf of the City all revenue, fares and other income <br /> arising from the operation of the transit system, all of which shall be the property <br /> of the City. Operator will put into effect a written, prudent policy of funds <br /> protection. <br /> , <br /> 3.7 LABOR RELATIONS <br /> Operator shall be responsible for all aspects of labor relations, including <br /> negotiation of labor contracts (within economic guidelines provided by the City). <br /> 3.8 SAFETY AND TRA/NING <br /> 0 er <br /> p ator will develop and implement a s stem safet ro ram <br /> y y p g covering all <br /> aspects of safety, including a written system safety plan. a hazard <br /> communications plan, a weekly inspection plan, and job-specific safety training <br /> for all employees. <br /> 3.9 FAC/L/TYAND FQUIPMENT <br /> The City shall furnish all office space. garage and repair facilities, furniture, <br /> equipment, buiidings, buses and other services as may reasonable be required <br /> for the Operator to efficientfy manage, supervise and operate the transit system, <br /> with the said property remaining the property of the City. <br /> 3.10 MA/NTENANCF <br /> Operator shall be responsible for all facility and equipment maintenance. <br /> 3.19 PURCHAS/NG <br /> Operator will make recommendations for capital purchases and will provide <br /> specifications, if requested by the City. Operator will make all other routine and <br /> necessary purchases. <br /> -j- <br />
