, � <br /> D. Work Product 3: Final Plans and Project Manual which address all review <br /> comments from the preliminary design. This work product is for City use in <br /> advertising the project for competitive bids and shall bear the seal of a Registered <br /> Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois. This work product is expected to <br /> include: <br /> 1. The acquisition of all permits or easements necessary for the proposed <br /> improvements to be constructed as designed. <br /> 2. The Plans (24" x 30") and the Project Manual that can be directly blue <br /> printed and/or photocopied from the master documents an unlimited number <br /> of times to produce clear, legible duplicates. <br /> 3. A set of plans that has been reduced to a scaleable dimension (typically 50 <br /> percent of the original) to fit ledger size paper(11 inch by 17 inch). <br /> E. Project Documentation: Record Plans and Project Manual. This material is for <br /> City files and records and is expected to be: <br /> 1. A complete documentation of design decisions, meeting minutes, consultant <br /> project correspondence and contacts, photographs, test reports and material <br /> pertaining to the project generated by the consultant. <br /> 2. A set of Plans and a Project Manual sealed by a Registered Professional <br /> Engineer in the State of Illinois. <br /> 3. An AutoCAD (Release 14) copy of the plans. <br /> F. Post-Design Services: This work will continue through the award of a contract and <br /> through construction (the City will provide resident engineer services) and will <br /> enable: <br /> 1. The correct written interpretation of the contract documents by probable <br /> interested bidders. <br /> 2. The opportunity for alternate materials, products, technology and methods to <br /> be submitted for written approval for incorporation into the project. <br /> 3. Assist the City in the preparation of written information to be delivered to <br /> probable bidders to clarify, amend, and/or document the contract items. <br /> 4. Provide some review of shop drawings or material cut sheets, when requested <br /> by the City, to assure specification conformance. <br /> 5.
