6. Computer time charges including program use charges. <br /> 7. Rental or lease charges for use of equipment, including equipment owned by the <br /> Engineer. <br /> 8. Cost of acqui�ing any other materials or seNices specifically for antl applicable to <br /> only this project. <br /> 9. Subcontract costs including those for testing laboratory services. <br /> 10. Cost of materials consumed specifically for this project. <br /> B. Engineer agrees to use its best efforts to perform the services within the billing limits <br /> stated above and in accordance with the agreed upon performance schedules. If, at any <br /> time, Engineer has reason to believe that the cost of the services will be greater, Engineer <br /> shall promptly notify Owner to that effect, giving a revised billing limit for performance of <br /> the services. <br /> Owner will not be obligated to reimburse Engineer for costs incurred in excess of the <br /> billing limits specified above, nor shall Engineer be obligated to continue performance <br /> under this Agreement or otherwise incur costs in excess of that amount, unless and until <br /> Owner notifies Engineer in writing that the billing limits have been increased to cover the , <br /> services, antl has specified in such notice revised billing limits for the services in question. <br /> When and to the extent that the billing limits have been increased, any costs incurred by <br /> Engineer, in excess of the billing limits prior to their increase shall be allowable to the <br /> same extent as if such costs had been incurred after the increase in the billing limits was <br /> approved. <br /> C. Monthly payments shall be made to Engineer by Owner based on Engineer's statement. <br /> The statement shall be itemized to indicate the amount of work performed and the <br /> associated reimbursable expenses and subcontract costs. <br /> D. The entire amount of each statement shall be due and payable upon receipt by Owner. <br /> Carrying charges of 1-1/2 percent per month from the billing date, shall be due for <br /> accounts which are not paid within 60 days after the billing date. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> It is understood and agreed that Engineer shall start the performance of the services within ten <br /> days of receipt of notice to proceed and provide a draft report within the 30-45 calendar days <br /> identified in the Owner's letter dated March 8, 1999.
