The City may, in its discretion, purchase a new stand-alone computer and software to <br /> operate on a new, upgraded State of Illinois LEADS system for use within the Center, and the <br /> City will be responsible for all costs of purchase, installation and operation; provided that, the <br /> County will be responsible for all line fees for LEADS ternunals used for County operations. The <br /> City and County also acknowledges that all the technical requirements for the new State of Illinois <br /> LEADS 2000 system have not been announced or fully understood at the time of this agreement, <br /> and further negotiations between both parties may be necessary prior to full implementation of <br /> that upgrade. <br /> �. Each party hereto shall be responsible for any FCC licensing necessary for any radio <br /> frequencies for which that party has responsibility on the effective date of this supplemental <br /> agreement. <br /> 8. The City may make long distance telephone calls for the operation of the Center only on <br /> telephone lines paid for by the City. <br /> 9. The City of Decatur will continue to provide, at no additional cost to the County, access <br /> to the host computer currently being utilized for Communications and Record keeping functions. <br /> As provided for in the master agreement, each party is responsible for the purchase, installation, <br /> and maintenance of hardware and software necessary to connect to the Local Area Network <br /> ("LAN") and for access to the host computer. The City maintains the right to deternune what is <br /> required for optimal operation of this host computer. The system administration of the host <br /> computer is limited to ensuring that the host computer operates within the specified perimeters of <br /> the manufacture of the computer, operating system, and computer software programs provided <br /> by the City. The addition of any software on the host computer other than what has been <br /> currently installed is at the discretion of the City. Conflicts that arise with and between software <br /> and the operating system will be resolved at the discretion of the City. <br />
