: SCUPE OF �ERVICES Page 5 Task 7: Present Alternatives to Public and Agencies The consuttant will provide information and exhibits that will enable the City of Decatur and DUATS staff to communicate with. The consultant, drawing from its experience, will assist the staff in developing the methods for involving citizens. Methods may include meeting with neighborhood or special interest groups, publishing newsletters, creating a website, etc., to present the alternatives to City Council Members, Commissioners, Elected Officials and the general public. The consultant will conduct one public meetiny with the public and agencies to present alternatives and the preferred plan. Task 8: Prepare Draft 2025 Transportation Plan Document I The consultant will deliver thirty 130) copies of the preliminary draft of the 2025 Transportation Plan, along with maps, and will deliver a copy of the product on disc in a format specified by the City of Decatur, which will provide comments. The consultant will prepare a 4-16 page summary of the plan for distribution to the media and public by the City. ' The consultant will forward monthly progress reports to IDOT, the City of Decatur, FTA and to DUATS, and will maintain regular contact with the staff of all three entities. Phase III Task 9: Prepare Final 2025 transportation Plan Document The consultant will deliver thirty (30) copies of the final version of the 2025 Transportation Plan, along with all maps and graphics to the City of Decatur, which will forward copies to DUATS for distribution to appropriate agencies. The consultant will present the final product to a study session of the Decatur City Council and/or DUATS Policy Committee at a time mutually agreeable to both parties.
