. � , . <br /> representatives from the Macon County ETSB and the City of Decatur shall meet within 30 <br /> days to arrange for the transfer of duties and a disposition of equipment, hardware and software. <br /> Both parties agree that it is in the best interest of the citizens of Macon County that neither will <br /> terminate any part of their performance under this agreement to provide Enhanced 9-1-1 service <br /> until an agreed upon date when the Macon County ETSB can assume the responsibility for <br /> Enhanced 9-1-1 service and the City of Decatur can fulfill its obligations for Emergency <br /> Communications. <br /> II <br /> DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CITY <br /> A. The City agrees to abide by and adhere to the Emergency Telephone System Act <br /> (50 ILCS Section 750 et. seq.); <br /> B. The City agrees to abide by and adhere to Title 83, Public Utilities-Chapter 1: <br /> Illinois Commerce Commission-Sub-Chapter F: Telephone Utilities-Part 725 <br /> (Standards of Service applicable to 9-1-1 Emergency Systems); <br /> C. The City agrees to abide by Emergency Telephone System Standard Operating <br /> Procedures which are mutually established and amended from time to time by the <br /> Macon County ETSB and the Chief of Police for the City of Decatur or his designated <br /> representative as outlined in Section V - POLICIES AND PROCEDURES of this , <br /> agreement; I <br /> D. The City agrees to allow unscheduled access to the E9-1-1 equipment owned <br /> and maintained by the Macon County ETSB Director's Office Personnel and the Vendor ' <br /> selected by Macon County ETSB to install and maintain said E9-1-1 equipment; 'i <br /> E. The City agrees that the E9-1-1 equipment purchased by Macon County ETSB II <br /> and installed at the PSAP shall remain the property of the Macon County ETSB; <br /> F. The City agrees that representatives of the Macon County ETSB shall be the I'i <br /> only personnel authorized to maintain, modify, move or change the configuration of the ! <br /> E9-1-1 equipment owned and maintained by the ETSB and installed at the PSAP <br /> without written permission of the ETSB; <br /> G. The City agrees to provide for the administration of the PSAP, to provide for <br /> PSAP operations on a 24-hour a day basis and to staff the PSAP with Emergency <br /> Communications Specialists (telecommunicators) whose training meets the standards <br /> established by the ETSB; <br /> 2 <br />
