(iii) The terms "Communications Supervisor" and "Emergency <br /> Communications Specialist" shall mean those employees of the City occupying <br /> positions denoted as such by position descriptions of the City, which descriptions are <br /> attached hereto as E�ibits A and B. The costs to the City of said positions shall <br /> include wages and other benefits, including, but not limited to, insurance, pension <br /> contributions and all other generally accepted employment costs, as determined by the <br /> City's Finance Department. <br /> O. The Macon County ETSB shall be responsible for all expenses associated with <br /> their obligation to provide a back-up PSAP including but not limited to telephone <br /> exchange equipment, radio or phone links between the Macon County PSAP and the <br /> back-up PSAP, any charges or expenses related to the operation of the back-up PSAP, <br /> and any expenses incurred by the City of Decatur due to any agreement with a back-up <br /> PSAP; <br /> P. The Macon County ETSB shall be responsible for all costs of providing any <br /> hardware or software required to comply with requirements of state and federal laws <br /> and regulations regarding equal access to E-9-1-1 service to those who are speech or <br /> hearing impaired. <br /> Q. The ETSB shall reimburse the City of Decatur for actual costs associated with <br /> the startup and testing of the Enhanced 9-1-1 system including any extra personnel costs <br /> for Emergency Communication Specialists or Communication Supervisors who answer <br /> and log test calls. <br /> IV <br /> LIABILITY <br /> A. The Macon County ETSB shall hold harmless the City and its Council members, <br /> officers, employees and agents, in both their individual and official capacities, from all <br /> claims for damages to any equipment owned by the Macon County ETSB and used for <br /> System purposes, as defined at 50 ILCS 750/0.01 et seq., except in cases of gross <br /> negligence. <br /> B. The City shall hold harmless the Macon County ETSB and its Board members, <br /> officers, employees and agents, in both their individual and official capacities, from all <br /> claims for damages to any equipment owned by the City and used for System purposes, <br /> as defined at 50 ILCS 750/0.01 et seq., except in cases of gross negligence. <br /> C. The Macon County ETSB shall obtain and keep in place during the term of this <br /> Agreement, and any extensions thereof, comprehensive general liability insurance, <br /> including, but not limited to, coverage for errors and omissions and providing for costs <br /> of defense, for all activities related to the operation of the Basic system and the <br /> Sophisticated system, as defined at 50 ILCS 750/0.01 et seq., and for all <br /> 6 <br />
