In addition, it was reasonable to <br /> expect that BGM's background knowledge and familiarity with the project would enable it to <br /> expedite the project and save project design related costs. <br /> BGM was agreeable to providing the services and met with staff to discuss the needed <br /> updates and chan�es to the plans. An ageement for engineering services has been negotiated <br /> with BGM for the updates to the plans and specifications they prepared in 1988 for this project. <br /> A copy of the ageement is attached. The time frame to complete the updates is 45 days and the <br /> fee for this work is $11,000. <br /> Funding for this contract will be from the City's General Capital Improvement Fund. <br /> It is recommended by staff that the City Council approve the attached resolution <br /> approving the award of a professional services contract to Bainbridge, Gee, Milanski & <br /> Associates, Inc., for the 21 st Street Storm Sewer Outfall, City Project Number 9828, in an <br /> amount not to exceed $11,000 and that the Mayor be authorized to execute the agreement. <br /> City staff will be available to answer questions that the Council may have at the meeting. <br /> attch: 3 <br /> cc: Phillip R.
