E., City Engineer t� <br /> SUBJECT: North Water Treatment Plant Property Survey <br /> The Ci 's tentative a eement with Archer-Daniels-Midlands Com an AD sti ulates I� <br /> tY St' P Y � � P <br /> that the City will, at its cost, have a survey of the property prepared. This survey is to contain II <br /> legal descriptions of the real estate, show the location of a11 buildings and improvements on the <br /> real estate and show compliance with all applicable setback and other land use requirements. City <br /> staff is not able to perform the professional level of survey work required to complete this survey. <br /> The preparation of the survey was discussed with Homer L. Chastain & Associates, LLP to <br /> determine the amount of work required and the estimated cost. <br /> Chastain has reviewed the work that needs to be done and has submitted a proposal (copy <br /> attached) to perform the necessary survey work. The fee is estimated to range from $9,000 to <br /> $12,000. The work will be done in conformance with minimum standards as established for <br /> ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys as adopted by the American Land Title Association. A range <br /> was given as the estimate is based on the expected amount of work that will have to be done. The <br /> amount of work can increase or decrease depending on the existence and accuracy of e�sting <br /> property information and property boundary markers. <br /> The funding for this work will be from the Water Fund. <br />
