+ Constitution of the State of Illinois, units of local government <br /> i <br /> j may contract or otherwise associate among themselves to obtain or <br /> share services and to use their credit, revenues, and other <br /> resources to pay costs related to intergovernmental activities; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City and Authority have agreed as to the method <br /> and manner of payment of the expenses of the project and such <br /> agreement has been reduced to writing and attached hereto; and, <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board a document <br /> entitled "Agreement" ( "Agreement" ) between the Authority and the <br /> City which said Agreement describes the method and manner of <br /> payment of the expenses of the project by the City and the <br /> Authority. <br /> THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF THE DECATUR <br /> METROPOLITAN EXPOSITION, AUDITORIUM AND OFFICE BUILDING AUTHORITY, <br /> Decatur, Illinois: <br /> Section 1 . That the Board does hereby determine that it is in <br /> the best interests of the public that the Agreement as presented to <br /> this Board be entered into concerning the payment of the expenses <br /> involved in the project. <br /> Section 2. That the Agreement between the Authority and the <br /> City concerning the payment of the cost of the project is <br /> considered a part of this Resolution, the same as if set forth in <br /> full in this Resolution. <br /> Section 3. That the General Manager be and she hereby is <br /> authorized to execute such Agreement in the form as presented to <br /> -2- <br />
