Smith,Water Production Manager <br /> SUBJECT: Rehabilitation of the North Water Treatment Plant Lagoon <br /> Overflow Structures <br /> City Project 9844 <br /> The overflow structures in four of the sludge lagoons at the City's North Water Treatment <br /> Plant have deteriorated and must be repaired. The deterioration is a combination of time and the <br /> exposure to the environment. The structures were inspected and the needed repairs were <br /> determined by the City's Water Production Division. The repairs must be made at this time and <br /> can not be delayed. This information was used to prepare the project specifications for bidding. <br /> The project was adveRised for bids and separate notices were sent to 5 contractors on file <br /> with the Engineering Division for this type of work. A single bid was received in response to the <br /> advertisement process and opened on Thursday, August 13. The result of the letting is as <br /> follows: <br />
