This is in prepa.ration for the on-site discussions in Phase II. <br /> « „ <br /> in relation to ublic sector market ricin <br /> -Review Classification and Com ensation structure p g <br /> P P <br /> -Review current position descriptions of management jobs to determine appropriateness of <br /> content and usability <br /> -Review organizational structure against position descriptions <br /> -Evaluate previous work done by Mercer <br /> Planning/Data Collection/Coordination <br /> It is assumed that the city of Decatur will provide the Human Resources Manager for the City as <br /> the primary coordinator, advisor and management liaison with approval for all deliverables. <br /> Scheduled Delivery of Phase I-To be completed within 45 days of approval of letter of <br /> agreement and delivery of pertinent project documents <br /> Phase II <br /> On site Consultation-HR Management , <br /> It is anticipated that the on site consultation will include one half day with HR management and <br /> one half day with senior management <br /> The follow are expected areas of discussion with a formal agenda jointly developed a$er <br /> approval of letter of agreement <br /> -Review Organizational structure <br /> -Review Pay Strategy, Pay Philosophy and Project Objectives <br /> -Discuss Competitiveness of Pay Posture <br /> -Discuss Strategic Direction and Restructuring <br /> -Discuss documentaxion review <br /> -Discuss Issues and Gaps <br /> -Discussion of next steps <br /> On site Consultation-Senior Management <br /> -Conduct Focus group on classification, salary issues and opportunities <br />
