4. Insurance-The ENGINEER shall procure and mairYtain, at its expense, insurance of the type I <br /> and in the minimum amounts stated below: ' <br /> a. Worker's Compensa.tion Insurance in full compliance with the Workman's <br /> Compensation Act and Employers Liability coverage of not less than as defined by <br /> Illinois State Statutes. • <br /> b. Comprehensive General Liability <br /> Bodily Injury $250,000/500,000 each occurrence <br /> Property Damage $250,000 each occunence or <br /> $500,000 Single Limit Liability <br /> c. Comprehensive Automobile Liability <br /> Bodily Injury $250,000 single per occunence <br /> Including Death, $500,000 two or more, per occunence ' <br /> Property Damage $100,000 each occurrence <br /> d. Architects&Engineers ', <br /> Professional Liability $1,000,000 II <br /> e. Umbrella over above ' <br /> Items a, b and c $1,000,000 <br /> The Comprehensive General Liability policy shall include blanket contractual liability <br /> coverage or a contractual liability endorsement covering the liability assumed by the <br /> ENGINEER under this AGREEMENT, with limits not less than those specified <br /> herein. Certificates furnished hereunder shall reflect such coverage. <br /> Insurance shall be written by a company or compazues satisfactory to the CTTY. " <br /> Before commencing any work hereunder, a certificate evidencing that maintenance <br /> of said insurance shall be furnished to the CITY, and shall contain the following <br /> statement: <br /> "Insurance evidenced by this certificate will not be canceled or altered <br /> unless 30 days written notice is given to the certificate holder and the <br /> additional insured." <br /> Policies for Items b, c and e above must name the CTTY as an additional insured <br /> during the life of this AGREEMENT. <br /> BGM 98057 (Rev. 5/26/98) Page 3 of 6 <br />
