CITY COUNC'IL MINUTES <br /> MONDAY.JULY 17. 1995 <br /> The City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois met in Closed, Executive Session in the <br /> City Council Conference Room. Mayor Terry M. Howley presided; together with him being <br /> Councilmen Nfichael T. Canigan, Larry W. Foster, William Ivytchell, Kent N. 11Tittelberg, and <br /> William F. Oliver. Councilman Lou Ann 7acobs was absent. Six members were present and one <br /> was absent. Mayor Howley declared a quorum present. <br /> The first item of business was a discussion relative to labor relations. Daniel R <br /> Sommerfeldt, Assistant City Manager, briefed the City Council on negotiations with the Decatw <br /> Police Benevolent and Protective Labor Association and General Service employees represented <br /> by AFSCME Loca1268. No formal action was taken. <br /> The second item of business was a discussion relative to land acquisition for A W. Cash <br /> Valve and a proposal of the Decatur Pazk District concerning the Wildwood area. No formal <br /> action was taken. <br /> Councilman Oliver moved the meeting be reopened to the public; seconded by <br /> Councilman Ivlitchell, and on call of the roll, Councilmen Cazrigan, Foster, lviitchell, 11�ittelberg, <br /> Oliver, and Mayor Howley voted aye.
