. k'+ <br /> ti � <br /> � <br /> - .,_ <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FOR <br /> ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, between City of Decatur, Illinois (Owner) and Black & <br /> Ueatch (Engineer) ; <br /> W I T N E S S E T H : <br /> WHEREAS, Owner intends to rehabilitate or replace the North Water <br /> Treatment Plant and to develop other waterworks related improvements in <br /> order to expand the City of Decatur's water production capability in the , <br /> north area, City Project 9644 (the Project) ; and, , <br /> WHEREAS, Owner requires certain engineering services in connection with I <br /> the Project (the Services) ; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Engineer is prepared to provide the Services; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises contained in this <br /> Agreement, Owner and Engineer agree as follows: <br /> ARTICLE 1 - EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> The effective date of this Agreement shall be March 31 , 1997. <br /> ARTICLE 2 - GOVERNING LAW - <br /> This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. <br /> ARTICLE 3 - SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED BY ENGINEER <br /> Engineer shall perform the Services described in Attachment A, Scope of <br /> Services. <br /> ARTICLE 4 - COMPENSATION <br /> Owner shall pay Engineer in accordance with Attachment B, Compensation. <br /> SLW16:001 1 <br /> 04/O1/97 <br />
