CTTY COUNCII.r�ffYi UTES <br /> MONDAY, AUGUST 19, 1996 <br /> The City Council of the City of Decaiur, Illinois met in Closed, Executive Session in the <br /> City Council Conferenc� Room. Mayor Terry M. Howley presided; together with hun being <br /> Councilmen IVfichael T. Carrigan, Larry W. Foster, William 11�i'itchell, Kent N. I�fittelberg and <br /> William F. Oliver. Council�nan Lou Ann Jacobs was absenf. Mayor Howley declared a quonun <br /> present. <br /> The only item of business was a discussion relative to the City Manager search. Police <br /> Chief Tun Williams was interviewed for this position. No foimal action was taken. <br /> Councilman Oliver moved the me�ting be reopene� to the public; seconded by <br /> Councilman Carrigan, and on call of the roll, Councilmen Carrigan, Foster, 14fitchell, M'ittelberg, <br /> Oliver, and Mayor Howley vote,�i aye.
