Compliance with Law <br /> NDC agrees to compl�� �vith all applicable federal, state and local la�vs in the conduct of tiie <br /> �vork hereunder. NDC accepts full responsibility for payments of all unemployment <br /> compensation insurance premiums, w�orkers compensation premiums, all income ta� <br /> deductions, social security deductions, and any and all other taxes or pa}�roll deductions <br /> required for all employees en�,a,ed by :v�C on the performance of the �vork authorized by <br /> this A;reement. y v <br /> i�lodifications <br /> This A,reement mav be a�liended at any time by a written modification. �lodifications which <br /> affect the ri�hts and obli�ations of either party shall be executed by the CITY and NDC. <br /> Flow-Do�i�n Pro��isions <br /> NDC shall include provisions to carry out the purposes of this a�reement in all contracts of <br /> employment�vith persons who perform any part of the work under this Agreement, and with <br /> all subcontractors and other persons or organizations participatin� in any part of the work <br /> under this AQreement. There shall be provision for further flow down of such rec�uirements <br /> to each subtier of employees and subcontractors to the eYtent feasible. <br /> VII. OTHER�D�II\1STRATIVE REQUIRENIENTS <br /> Equal Employment Opportunity <br /> In the event of the contractor's non-compliance with the provisions of this Ec�ual Employment <br /> Opportunity Clause, the Illinois Human Ri�hts Act on the Rules and Regulations of the <br /> Illinois Department of Human Rights ("Department"), the contractor of Illinois or any of its <br /> political subdi��isions or municipal corporations, and the contract may be canceled or voided <br /> in whole or in part. and such other sanctions or penalties may be imposed or remedies invoked <br /> as provided by statute or regulation. During he performance of this contract, the contractor <br /> agrees as follo�y�s. <br /> (1) That it ���ill not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment <br /> because of race, color, religion, sex, marital status, national oriQin or ancestry, age, <br /> physical or mental handicap unrelated to ability, or an unfavorable discharge from <br /> military service; and further that it will examine all job classifications to determine if <br /> minority persons or women are underutilized and �vill take appropriate affirmative <br /> action to rectify any such underutilization. <br /> 8 <br />
