The results of the letting <br /> are as follows: <br /> Compared to <br /> Engineer's Est. <br /> Bidder Bid Price Over(-Under) <br /> Engineer's Estimate $ 305,105.60 --- <br /> Rathje Enterprises, Inc. <br /> dba Bodine Electric, Inc. 259,361.50 (14.99) <br /> Egizii Electric, Inc. 263,314.95 (13.70) <br /> J. F. Edwards Construction Co. 327,987.85 7.50 <br /> The bid submitted by Rathje Enterprises, Inc., dba Bodine Electric, Inc. contained a unit <br /> price coding error (highlighted) which reduced their original bid by $7,955.00, making them the <br /> low bidder. Follow-up discussions with Rathje Enterprises, Inc. have confirmed that they are <br /> willing to stand by their error and perform the required work. <br /> We recommend award of the contract to the low bidder, Rathje Enterprises, Inc., dba Bodine <br /> Electric, Inc., at their low bid price of$259,361.50. <br /> City staff will be available to answer any questions that the Council may have at the meeting. <br />
