Smith,Water Production Manager <br /> SUBJECT: NWTP- Replacement of Condensing Units <br /> City Project 9640 <br /> The existing air conditioning condensing units at the City's North Water Treatment Plant are <br /> those originally installed about twenty years ago and need to be replaced. The replacement of the <br /> units cannot be deferred while a decision is made regarding the rehabilitation or replacement of <br /> the North Water Treatment Plant. The air conditioning system must remain reliable to insure the <br /> temperature control of the laboratory and the area housing the electrical control equipment used <br /> to operate the plant. <br /> The project specifications were prepared by the consulting firm of Bainbridge-Gee-Milanski <br /> & Associates, Inc. The project was advertised and bids were received and opened on Thursday, <br /> November 7, 1996.
